William K. Wong Sr., MD

Dermatologist

William Wong Sr., MD, is a seasoned dermatologist of 40+ years, an active Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and a Fellow of the Dermatology Foundation. At Hawaii Dermatology & Surgery, Inc., with a main office in Aiea and a satellite office in Honolulu, Hawaii, he enjoys his medical mission and practices a “holistic participatory approach to skin and related medical maladies”.

Dr. Wong’s main focus are general dermatologic conditions such as acne, infections, eczema, psoriasis, and other skin-related diseases. He does surgical removal of warts, cysts, moles, and various skin cancers. In addition, he offers cosmetic procedures such as Dysport® injections, chemical peels, fillers, and laser treatments for excess body hair, sun-damaged skin blemishes, aging lines, and wrinkles.

Nadia Knights

Physician Assistant – Dermatology

Nadia Knights, PA-C, is a board-certified dermatology physician assistant. Nadia completed her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, then went on to earn her Master of Physician Assistant Studies and Health Studies from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, where she gained extensive clinical experience through clerkships in dermatology, plastic surgery, and general surgery at Franklin Square Medical Center.

She enjoys practicing all aspects of dermatology, from diagnosing and treating medical conditions to performing cosmetic procedures such as Dysport injections. Nadia is also an active member of the Hawaii Academy of Physician Assistants (HAPA) and is committed to continuously advancing her knowledge and skills to provide the best care for her patients.

Born and raised on the windward side of Oahu, Nadia is honored to practice in her local community. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys spending time with her family, often at the beach with her husband and dogs.

Amanda Bartlett

Physician Assistant – Dermatology

Amanda Bartlett, PA-C, is our new member of Hawaii Dermatology & Surgery. She came to O’ahu after spending her past 5 years in the 9th island of Las Vegas, NV as a certified Physician Assistant in Internal Medicine.

Amanda completed her undergraduate degree in Biology from Southern Adventist University in Chattanooga, TN. She then earned two Masters degrees from Touro University in Las Vegas.  She completed a Masters of Science in Medical Health Science, and her capstone degree of a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies. Her three‑year graduate study culminated with one year of comprehensive didactic instruction and clinical rotations in General Surgery, Pediatrics, Family Medicine, Women’s Health, Internal Medicine, Psychiatry, Emergency Medicine, Infectious Disease and Dermatology. In each of these clinical settings, Amanda was exposed to diverse patient populations.  After graduation, Amanda worked from 2017-2021 in Internal Medicine practices. There she enjoyed treating and building relationships with her patients and becoming a well-rounded healthcare provider.

She is now undergoing a Dermatology Clinical Internship of 3-6 months with Dr. William K Wong. With this specialized training, she will provide critical and loving dermatological care to our island family members.

Amanda is originally from Charlotte, NC. She competed in local and state championship swimming competitions and sang in both school and church choir groups. She and her husband were high school sweethearts. Her husband, Lyndon, is a pilot in the US Air Force and assigned to Hickam AFB. They moved to Hawaii with their two toddlers, Charlotte and Audrey. Since arriving to Hawaii, Amanda loves leading and teaching children and youth classes in the Adventist church; running and cycling; and taking her girls to many of the wonderful beaches and museums on O’ahu.
