Katie Showalter, P.A.-C

Katie Showalter, PA-C joined Hawaii Dermatology & Surgery in March 2021 from Pensacola, FL. She has worked as a certified dermatology PA for over 10 years in several states, including Florida, Mississippi and Virginia before moving to Honolulu. 

Katie completed her undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of West Florita in Pensacola, Fl. in 2006. She then earned her Masters Degree in Health Sciences and Physician Assistant Studies from The University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama in 2009. Since graduating, Katie has worked for over 10 years in the field of dermatology. She enjoys building relationships and getting to know patients from all aspects of life. 

She was borm and raised in Crestview, Florida. After graduation high school, she moved to Pensacola, Florida for college. There she met her husband, who currently serves in the US Coast Guard as a marine inspector. They have a 5 year old son, Konner, and a 7 year old daughter, Abigail. She and her family are very involved with their church where she currently also serves as the part time children's director. Since arriving to Hawaii, Katie enjoys hiking, sailing, canoeing and paddle boarding. Most weekends, you'll find Katie and her family either at the beach or spending their spare time outdoors.
